Pedestrian System
Walking trails allow homeowners to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds River Hills. The trails wind through the community and also connects the homeowners to the "Tot Lot" park next door.
Parks
Besides the acres of untouched green space in the River Hills community, the property borders 3 different parks. Monterey Park is a "fun" park which has 11 soccer fields, 2 baseball diamonds, playground equipment, and park facilities. To the south, Waukesha County owns 328 acres of "natural" parkland. Bordering River Hills to the east is a 2 acre "Tot Lot" park with playground equipment for the young ones.
Natural Features
River Hills at Monterey is bordered by the beautiful Ashippun River to the north, and will have a pond and a line of trees on the west border.
